Why?
The extra bit of Tenacity from Unflinching is huge for allowing you to move freely in fights to deal damage on primary targets and find executions with [R].

More [R] casts means more kills and more gold share with your teammates so that you can easily snowball the game to a victory.
Presence of Mind
Damaging an enemy champion restores 6-50 (80% for ranged) mana or 6 energy.

Presence of Mind is huge for keeping your [R] on a short cooldown. Mid Pyke is all about those huge executions with [R].
Legend: Haste
