Empowering or protecting allies with abilities sends Aery to them, shielding them for 30 - 100 based on level (+0.05 AP ) (+0.1 bonus AD ).
Aery cannot be sent out again until she returns to you.Why?
Aery synergies incredibly well with Lulu's play-style mix of offensive lane pressure and late-game shielding. Makre sure to pick up Aery as often as you can to make full use of her.
Manaflow Band
Hitting an enemy champion with an ability permanently increases your maximum mana by 25, up to 250 mana.
After reaching 250 bonus mana, restore 1% of your missing mana every 5 seconds.
Cooldown: 15 secondsWhy?
Manaflow Band on Lulu allows you to trade rather aggressively in lane often while keeping your mana reserves relatively hight. The Ultimate Hat allows you the freedom to use Wild Growth more offensively and liberally when fighting skirmishes without worry of it being on cooldown for a teamfight.
Transcendence
Gain bonuses upon reaching the following levels:

Level 11: On Champion takedown, reduce the remaining cooldown of basic abilities by 20%.Why?
The mid-game CDR granted by Transcendence is massive for teamfights where an extra [E] shield could mean the difference between winning or losing.

Paired with Summoner Aery, Scorch grants Lulu fantastic lane power and harassment chip damage.
Bone Plating
After taking damage from an enemy champion, the next 3 spells or attacks you receive from them deal 30-60 (based on level) less damage.
Duration: 1.5s
Cooldown: 55sWhy?
Bone Plating allows you to trade aggressively in the laning phase to abuse your high base damage and get an early lead without taking too much damage yourself.
Revitalize
Gain 5% Heal and Shield Power.
Heals and shields you cast or receive are 10% stronger on targets below 40% health.Why?
Revitalize is the last piece of the puzzle, empowering the shield of your [E] and healing from Font of Life & Redemption.
