Dark Harvest is an excellent rune choice for securing easy kills thanks to your ability to easily proc it with the use of your high burst and passive dot.

Taste of Blood allows you to trade early and often in lane, making good use of your high base damage.

Grisly Mementos Stacks are relatively easy to acquire in teamfights/skirmishes where you're able to tag multiple people with your [R] and passive explosion.

Brand is a champion that can quite regularly land Comet once you have Rylai's. The DoT from his passive also helps dramatically reduce the cooldown of Comet while they are burning.

After reaching 250 bonus mana, restore 1% of your missing mana every 5 seconds.
Cooldown: 15 secondsWhy?
As a high damage support, your job is to provide **lane pressure with frequent harass** from ability spam. Manaflow provides you the mana sustain to keep the pressure up. Pay attention to the cooldown and try to **utilize the mana refund on [W]**, your highest costing ability.
Absolute Focus
While above 70% health, gain an
adaptive bonus of up to 18 Attack Damage or 30 Ability Power (based on level).
Grants 1.8 Attack Damage or 3 Ability Power at level 1.Why?
Brand's ability to take over the laning phase with his immense damage is unrivaled. A few early [W]s for poke with Absolute Focus can win you the lane.

Cooldown: 10sWhy?
Scorch is a rune that really plays up on heavy lane aggresison and dies off over the course of the game. If you expect to game to go to late you can forgo that early damage for scaling with Gathering Storm instead.
Magical Footwear
You get free Slightly Magical Footwear at 12 min, but you cannot buy boots before then. For each takedown you acquire the boots 45s sooner.
Slightly Magical Footwear grants you an additional10 Move Speed .Why?
Magical Footwear allows you to take advantage of your aggressive laning phase damage by snowballing any kills/assists you pick up into a father damage itemization.
