Empowered abilities and resource manipulation

Manaflow Band

Hitting an enemy champion with an ability permanently increases your maximum mana by 25, up to 250 mana.

After reaching 250 bonus mana, restore 1% of your missing mana every 5 seconds.

Your first damaging ability hit every 10s burns champions.

Aurora's double cast [Q] makes for a very quick short burst trade with Electrocute.

Many of Aurora's abilities have a short dash allowing you to proc Sudden Impact easily and regularly on cooldown.

Eyeball collection is an overall solid solo queue rune choice because these games tend to ahve a lot more kills than pro games.

Aurora's [R] is a massive AoE teamfight ability so ensuring you have it up for important teamfights is critical.

Manaflow Band is a generally stable and useful rune choice for mages.

Scorch paired with Electrocute on Aurora makes for very bursty trades in lane.
